Branson Convention Bureau Marketing Officer to speak at GLA Banquet
Ms. Leah Chandler, Chief Marketing Officer of the Branson Convention and Visitor Bureau, will be the keynote speaker at the December 5th Annual Banquet of the Grand Lake Association at Wyandotte Casino .
Chandler, Chief Marketing Officer of the Branson CVB for the past 4 years, is a dedicated, results-oriented professional with 14+ years of branding, advertising and marketing experience with emphasis in the tourism and hospitality industry. As the account service leader on numerous accounts, she has directed the strategic development that has led to strong brand building, creative solutions and quantifiable results for Branson.
The GLA will be holding our 63rd Annual Banquet, and GLA President Hoyit Bacon promises an enjoyable evening with fine food and fellowship as we review the goals and accomplishments of the 63 year old organization.
The Grand Lake Association, GLA, promotes tourism in Ottawa, Delaware, Craig and Mayes counties, and participates in a matching funds program with the Oklahoma Department of Tourism, where for every $10,000 in promotion of tourism, the state matches a portion of those funds to help in our efforts.
Amanda Davis, Director of the Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, and a member of the 2017 Executive committee of the GLA, is chairman of this years Annual Banquet. Davis has developed an extraordinary strong CVB in Miami, and has doubled the tourism traffic in and around Ottawa County. Davis is a key member of Green Country Marketing Association.
The GLA Annual Banquet will be held Monday, December 5th, at Wyandotte Casino, cocktails from 6-7 pm, with dinner to follow.
