Grand Nation Hosting Reboot Rebuild Event Thursday, March 22
If you’re having a difficult time finding a job, need a new job or want to overcome obstacles in your life, Grand Nation invites you to attend its free Reboot Rebuild event, Thursday, March 22.
A workplace readiness and resource seminar, Reboot Rebuild is a community event designed to help anyone who has stumbled to get back on the path to success.
Grand Nation, a nonprofit coalition whose mission is to assist families seeking a better life, is hosting the free event that will be held from noon to 4 p.m. at the First Christian Church, 226 West Canadian Ave., in Vinita.
Attendees of Reboot Rebuild will have the opportunity to gain insight from experienced speakers, including the Rev. Dr. Charles “Chuck” Jackson, access free resources to break down the barriers to employment and have one-on-one opportunities to find assistance.bbo
Topics to be covered will include writing a successful resume, finding references, filling out employment applications, learning what employers are looking for and finding companies willing to hire people with criminal records.
A number of resource booths will be set up for information and conversation with multiple assistance agencies. Resources available will include housing, child care, financial literacy and much more.

Hannah’s Closet, a ministry of Emmanuel Church and other churches in the Vinita area, will have a free “dress for success” boutique where ladies attending Reboot Rebuild will be able to get an outfit appropriate for job interviews, court appearances, etc. There will also be clothing for men and free haircuts for attendees.
Lunch and child care for school-age children will be provided.
