Grand Lake Is Open for Business ... Sort Of

Across the country and the world, the coronavirus is causing a lot of disruption in the way we all live our lives. The Grand Lake area is no exception.

Some businesses around Grand Lake are opting to close temporarily, while others are making adjustments and trying to make the best of a difficult situation.

Restaurants, Bars and Casinos

Ailey Cafe — The Langley cafe is currently open during its regular business hours. They have implemented a few changes, including limiting the number of dine-in patrons to 10 at any one time. Take-out and delivery services are available. Owner Miquelyn Ailey says they will deliver within 5 miles of the restaurant and includes a $4 delivery fee.

For take-out, call Ailey Cafe at (918) 782-9515. To pick up your order, Ailey says to “drive to the front and honk.” They will then bring the food to your vehicle. There is special take-out parking as well.

Clanton’s Cafe — UPDATE:  After much consideration, Clanton’s Cafe owners Melissa Clanton-Patrick and Dennis Patrick have made the tough decision to close the Route 66 favorite until April 1, in order to help lessen the spread of COVID-19 virus. For updates, visit the Clanton’s Cafe Facebook page.

El Cabrito Mexican Restaurant — The family-friendly restaurant in Vinita is open to both dine-in and take-out services. Delivery is also available. Call (918) 256-8492 for more information or to place an order for take-out.

Grand Lake Casino — To help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus in the four states area, Grand Lake Casino is currently closed. All events and promotions are cancelled as well. The Grand Lake Casino Lodge is also closed. No re-opening date has been set at this time.

Honey Creek BBQ — Need your barbecue fix? Honey Creek BBQ is open for lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. six days a week and is closed on Wednesdays.

Not only is the dining room open for service, Honey Creek BBQ offers to-go orders and will be providing curbside services. Call (918) 791-0662 to order your barbecue fix today.

Lighthouse Restaurant — The Ketchum restaurant will be closed until further notice due to the COVID-19 scare. The Grand Lake favorite will reopen as soon as the crisis is over.

Monkey Island Pub — Known as one of the cleanest places around, Monkey Island Pub will continue to maintain this cleanliness as it remains open during this time.

Mooney’s Sunset Bar and Grill — In order to protect its customers and employees during this time, Mooney’s in Disney will be closed until further notice.

Mulligans — Patricia Island Country Club’s signature dining establishment is now offering delivery, curbside or pickup services from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.

Mulligans full menu is available (subject to change). All orders must be paid for by credit card or house account. There is a $5 delivery fee on every order with a minimum order of $40.

No membership is required for the delivery, curbside or pickup services. Call (918) 786-1010 to place your order.

River Bend Casino & Hotel — The casino and hotel in Wyandotte is temporarily closed until March 31. At that time, River Bend Casino  Hotel will evaluate the situation and determine when to reopen.

Shangri-La Resort — A temporary reduction in services has been announced by Shangri-La Resort. The hotel and convention facilities, the Summit Restaurant, spa services, fitness center and in-restaurant dining at Doc’s Bar & Grill  have all been temporarily suspended. The golf and marina operations remain open.

Pizza and other take-out food from a limited menu is available from Doc’s Bar & Grill from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. The pizza and to-go menus are available on the Shangri-La app and the website. To-go orders must be placed by phone at (918) 257-7777 prior to pick up.

Access to the hotel and Doc’s is available only through the front entrance of the hotel. All pick up orders must be made through the front door of the hotel.

According to Shangri-La President and CEO Barry Willingham, full operations are planned to resume on April 6, and are subject to conditions at that time.

Stuff’ns Cafe — Located at 205 Ketchum Ave., in Ketchum, Stuff’ns Cafe is open for business. A great family-friendly choice, Stuff’ns Cafe offers both dine-in and drive-through services seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 8 p,m.

The Artichoke Restaurant and Bar — South Grand Lake’s premier dining establishment remains open with spaced seating. To-go orders are also available. Call (918) 782-9855 after 4 p.m. to place a to-go order. They will do their best to handle all requests. The food will be packaged in containers that can be microwaved for a warm meal when you get it home.

For those who like to enjoy a nice wine or beer from The Artichoke’s excellent collection, an unopened bottle of wine or beer is available for purchase with to-go orders. The ABLE Commission has eased restrictions making this possible through mid-April.

The Parrot Steakhouse & Grill — The Grove restaurant is currently open for its regular business hours. They have undertaken a number of measures in order to continue serving their customers in the best dining environment possible. These include seating customers at every other table to achieve at least a six-foot minimum between guests, fully sanitizing tables, chairs, menus, etc. after every use and more.

Carry-out orders are also available. The staff will either meet you at the door or bring it to you while you wait in your vehicle. Unopened bottles of wine or beer are also available for purchase and can be delivered with your carry-out order to you at your car to take with you.

Grand Lake Businesses and Services

The Muddy Pearl — The Grove boutique has temporarily closed its store until further notice. The Muddy Pearl hopes to reopen after March 30. Their online shop, www.shopmuddypearl.com, will remain open. Curbside pick-up options will be posted. Watch for live videos as well.

Angel’s Pet Funeral Home and Crematory — They are open and will remain open unless officials tell them otherwise. During this time, if you need to pick up or drop off and would rather remain in your car, call Angel’s Pet Funeral Home and Crematory at (918) 928-7738 to make arrangements.

Austin Brown State Farm Insurance — Austin Brown and his team continue to serve their customers. The office is currently open; however, if your transaction can be handled via phone, email or text, they encourage you to use those communication measures first.

918 Elevate Grand Lake — South Grand Lake’s premier medical marijuana dispensary is open. 918 Elevate Grand Lake is constantly sanitizing everything in the store. However, you don’t have to come in the store.

Just like any medical pharmacy, 918 Elevate Grand Lake offers a convenient drive-thru service. Established patients can call ahead and pre-order at (918) 801-8407, then pick up their medical cannabis at the dispensary’s drive-thru window. Just honk when you get to the store.

Fibertek Marine Fiberglass & Aluminum Repair — Grand Lake’s No. 1 fiberglass repair and detail facility is currently open for business as usual. However, many of the manufacturers they use are closing, making it more difficult for Fibertek to get the materials needed to perform their work. If it gets to the point where these materials aren’t available, Fibertek will close. Watch for updates or call (918) 320-9869.

Flawless Medical Day Spa —  The Vinita medical day spa was closed for the week of March 16. Plans are to re-open on Tuesday, March 23; however that date may change depending on the recommendations from the CDC. Watch its Facebook page for updates.

Stanley’s Detailing — The region’s premier auto detailing business is still offering its full line of services. However, because owner Robert Stanley’s family deals with medical challenges on a daily basis, he is taking steps to ensure his son’s health or life is not jeopardized during the COVID-19 pandemic.

For this reason, Stanley’s Detailing will not be doing face-to-face transactions at this time. All payments will need to be paid by PayPal, Square or left in the car.

In addition, if you are sick or have been around someone who is sick, as much as they would love to have your business, the company will be unable to accommodate you and your vehicle at this time.

SYNC (Spavinaw Youth & Neighborhood Center) — An important resource for the community of Spavinaw, SYNC will be starting a pilot program to procure needed items for the elderly and disabled so they do not have to get out and risk possible exposure.

SYNC will also be temporarily suspending all outside use (rentals) of the facility. In addition, children will not be allowed on site during this situation. Only a very limited number of personnel with prior approval will be allowed inside the facility.

Musuma Medical Spa, PLLC — Grand Lake’s go-to spa continues to offer its full line of professional treatments and services. However, in the interest of all of its current and new clients, Musuma Medical Spa has implemented a new policy. Effective immediately, If you have a fever, sore throat, body aches or have been exposed to someone who does, they must postpone your appointment.

New Life Church — For the next several weeks, New Life is switching to online church. They will not be meeting in their building. Online services will include Sunday at 10 a.m., Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. and Celebrate Recovery Thursday at 7 p.m.

Daily devotionals and words of encouragement from Pastor Kevin Baker and Aaron Wheeler will be available.

Food programs will continue with modifications to keep volunteers and clients safe.

Oasis Animal Adventures — The learning farm near Disney continues to be open for animal adventure encounters, field trips and animal therapy classes. However, only small groups are being accepted at this time. Call (918) 435-8201 to make an appointment to experience your own animal adventure.

Pier 13 Wine & Spirits — Langley’s only wine and spirits store is open for business. They are working hard to keep you safe and their shelves stocked. Pier 13 also accepts call-in and preorders at (918) 782-1213.

Tristah’s Boutique — The chic boutique in Grove remains open for business and is now offering curbside pickup. Call (918) 791-3078 for details.
