5/29 Grand River Dam Authority News Release
At 9:30 AM on Wednesday, May 29:
- Grand Lake elevation was 754.29 feet. Daily target elevation for May 29 is 743.87 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, five (5) main and two (2) east spillway gates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 85,806 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,912 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 99,718 cfs.
- Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 90,418 cfs.
- Lake Hudson elevation was 633.12 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, four (4) gates were open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 72,278 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 28,890 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 101,168 cfs.
- Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 100,794 cfs.
