Grove Rotary awards a Quick Response Grant program to Christian Medical Clinic
The Christian Medical Clinic which serves those in the Grand Lake Community who are unable to pay for medical care received a $400 Quick Response Grant from the Grove Rotary Foundation.
The Clinic is staffed by volunteers including registered nurses, dental hygienists, along with volunteer physicians. The grant will be used for providing masks, a non-contact thermometer and some diabetic supplies. The clinic is located at the First Baptist Church is normally open Thursday afternoons beginning at 3 p.m.
The Grove Rotary Club is offering a COVID -19 Quick Response Grant program to help meet the emergency needs of local nonprofits. Nonprofits in need can apply for an emergency grant by filling out an application which can be found on the club’s website. It is part of the club’s #StrongerTogetherGrove campaign.
The club is asking area residents to consider donating to this cause online via the #StrongerTogetherGrove site at https://donate.onecause.com/strongertogethergrove.
