Grove High School Rotary Grants
Three teachers at Grove High School recently were awarded a total of $6,590 from the Grove Rotary Club as part of the club’s community grant program. A total of more than $21,000 was awarded to Grove Public schools.
Sean Bolts, who has taught in Grove for more than 26 years, accepted a $4,775 grant from Kristi Wallace, Chair of the Rotary Charitable Giving Committee, to help purchase four interactive televisions for English classrooms.
Kristi Wallace, Chair of the Rotary Charitable Giving Committee, presented Joan Johnson, a high school math teacher, with a check for $315 for tools needed to record instruction of mathematics lessons.
A Rotary grant of $1,500 was presented to Band Director Joseph Wilhelm to help send students to the University of Arkansas summer music camp. The check was presented by Rotary Charitable Giving Committee Chair Kristi Wallace.
