Rotary Meeting

Never let it be said that the members of the Grove Rotary Club are not inventive. The club held its regular Wednesday meeting electronically on Zoom. It is believed this is the first time a club in Grove has ever held weekly meetings on the internet. More than 55 members joined in the first meeting on Wednesday where the regular agenda was followed including a salute to the flag, an opening prayer, announcements and then a program. Not surprisingly the program was on personal care during the COVID-19 shelter in place. The club even was able to raise money for the Rotary Foundation's college scholarship program as well as agree to donate money to the club's weekly caterers in support of small businesses.
