At the request of the Women's Auxiliary Association of Monkey Island, we are happy to pass along the information and request for support below regarding the beautification and highway maintenance on Monkey Island.

Springtime is here again and it’s time to clean-up. The mowing and upkeep of Highway 125  has been a great project for 17 years now and enjoyed by everyone that lives and visits Monkey Island. The new Resort will open in May 2017 and promises to bring many past and new visitors to our special place in the sun.

The Chamber is not going to handle this project, so your donation is necessary to keep Monkey Island beautiful.  The mowing/clean-up project cost $1,400.00 each time it is done. 
The season can call for up to 32 times which would amount to $44,800 for the season. 

Donations are tax deductible to the extent provided by law. WAAMI, (Women’s Auxiliary Association of Monkey Island) is registered 501c organization and will return you a receipt upon request.
