Perfect Spring Weekend at Shangri-La
The weekend weather looks great for golf; and it’s a busy week at Shangri-La as we welcome the Vitale, HGA, and Radar Golf Groups for a fun weekend of golf. That makes it a very busy weekend on the course, although we still have plenty of tee times Sunday. Please contact the golf shop for tee times if you want to play this weekend! It’s one of only three or four weekends a year that are this busy on the course, but we will naturally do our very best to accommodate everyone.
If you know someone looking for a job at a great place to work, we are hosting a Shangri-La Job Fair Thursday evening, March 6 from 6:00-8:00 in the Charles Davis Room at the club house.
The Shangri-La Women’s Golf Association kicks off their 2017 season this week with their annual Spring Brunch Saturday in the Summit beginning at 10:30 a.m. Several ladies will hit the course at 12:30, but the season officially begins Monday play day fun for the SLWGA on Monday, April 10.
It’s a big sports weekend in the Buffalo Bar too, of course, with golf’s biggest event of the year – The Masters. We’ll have full coverage with live action beginning at 2:00 Thursday, Friday & Saturday, and 1:00 on Sunday. We’ll have NBA coverage, as well, including late action Friday (9:00) and Sunday afternoon (4:00) featuring the Oklahoma City Thunder. NASCAR racing is on Sunday this week, with the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 coverage beginning at 12:30.
