There’s truly something for everyone over the Labor Day Weekend at Shangri-La!
We’ll start the weekend this week on the golf course with the Thursday Night Scramble at 5:00 and, of course, the Thursday Night “Cave Karaoke and Shrimp Boil” on Doc’s Patio. Come enjoy Chef Mike’s awesome shrimp and andouille – and the fabulous karaoke fun with the talented Jason Morgan!
Friday evening, Wine Club Members will kick off the weekend in style with a 5:00-7:00 Wine Mingle in the Club House lobby. The traditional holiday “Alternate Shot Horse Race” also starts at 5:00 Friday. Friday night is “College Football Friday” – our first big college football watch party at Doc’s. Tulsa plays at Michigan State starting at 6:00 and Oklahoma State is at Oregon State at 9:30.
Sunday is “Par 3 Jackpot” day on the golf course and, of course, the popular Sunday Brunch Specials at Doc’s Bar & Grill (9:00-2:00). Sunday night, we’ll wrap up the day with the “Sooner Sports Sunday” watch party at Doc’s as OU hosts Houston at 6:30.
Monday, we’ll offer Golf Course Fishing from 8:30-10:00. Tuesday, the SLWGA ladies will be on the course for their weekly Play Day (Pro Drive).
EXTENDED HOLIDAY HOURS AT EDDY’S
With the Labor Day festivities, Eddy’s Lakeside Bar will be open extended hours this weekend – 11:00-Midnight Friday, Saturday & Sunday and 11:00-6:00 Monday. And, YES, EDDY’S WILL REMAIN OPEN AFTER LABOR DAY for normal hours of fun Friday, Saturday & Sunday through September.
SUNDAY BRUNCH AT DOC’S!
Sunday Brunch at Doc’s is served from 9:00-2:00. Doc’s is always open to the general public; and brunch specials are priced between $14-$15. In addition to our regular menu items, brunch specials this week include N.Y. Benedict, B.A.L.T. (Bacon, Avocado, Lettuce, Tomato), Hair of the Dog Pancakes, Creole Breakfast Pizza, and a Chicken Strip Bowl.
Remember, too, that Doc’s Bar & Grill offers Pizza Delivery Service on Monkey Island Thursday-Monday. There is a phone number dedicated exclusively to that service. If you live on the Island, just call 918-257-7777 and place your order. We’ll bring it right to your door.
