The Summit Restaurant will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, reopening for dinner service Saturday. Doc's Bar & Grill will be closed Christmas Day. Golf Operations will be closed Christmas Day. Shangri-La Marina and the Spa at Shangri-La will be closed both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
ENJOY SPORTING EVENTS AT DOC'S
There's a fabulous line-up of football and basketball this holiday weekend - and there's no better place to enjoy your favorites than Doc's Bar & Grill. NFL Saturday games include Tampa Bay at Detroit (12:00) and Miami at Las Vegas (7:15). Sunday noon games include both Atlanta at Kansas City and Clevelent at the NY Jets. At 3:30 Philadelphia will face Dallas and Sunday Night Football features Tennessee at Green Bay. Monday Night Football spotlights Buffalo at New England. The NBA regular season is underway, too. Catch the OKC Thunder at Charlotte Saturday night at 6:00, followed by 7:00 p.m. home games Monday & Tuesday hosting Utah and Orlando, respectively.
DOC'S IS BOWL GAME HEADQUARTERS
It starts next Tuesday, December 29, with OSU facing Miami in the Cheez-It Bowl at 4:30 follwed by Texas and Colorado in the Alamo Bowls at 8:00. Wednesday, start Happy Hour early with Iowa and Missouri in the Music City Bowl at 3:00, followed by OU and Florida in the Cotton Bowl at 7:00. Game days are great days at Doc's Bar & Grill - $2 draft beer, $3 select bottles, $2 Shangria...and, for those early games, build-your-own Bloody Marys!
SUNDAY BRUNCH AT DOC'S
Sunday Brunch service at Doc's is an Island favorite! Brunch is served from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Sundays. Special Sunday Brunch offerings this week include 'Merica Benedict, Southwestern Grilled Cheese, Peppermint Chocolate Bark Pancakes, Texas Breakfast Pizza, and Legends Breakfast. Brunch specials are priced at $13-$14. The regular menu items will be available beginning at 11:00 a.m. New Brunch menu items will be available each week. The Chiefs host Atlanta and the Browns face the Jets - both at noon.
WEEKDAY LIGHTNING LUNCH SPECIALS AT DOC'S
Doc's Bar & Grill offers daily "Lightning Lunch Specials" from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. Specials are all priced at $10 or less and will be served in 15 minutes or less - or they're free! Daily specials are Spaghetti 5 Way on Monday, Pork, Rice & Gravy Tuesday, Cajun Red Beans & Rice Wednesday, Grand Lake Pot Roast Thursday, and Shrimp Etouffee Friday. Remember, Doc's is closed Christmas Day.
ITALIAN/WINE WEDNESDAY AT DOC'S
Shangri-La offers another weekly evening of special food & fun offerings - Italian/Wine Wednesday from 6:00-9:00 p.m. We will offer a different specially prepared Italian entree each week, accompanied by salad and garlic bread sticks - as well as special discounts on select glass & bottles of wine and specialty cocktails. The December 30 entree is Classic Spaghetti & Meatballs. Dessert is a Caramel Apple Almond Cake ($20).

NEW YEAR'S EVE AT DOC'S
Chef Mike and his crew have planned a fantastic New Year's Eve dinner for Doc's Bar & Grill. The three-course meal includes an appetizer or salad, entree, and dessert for $45 per person. You may upgrade to dinner-for-two with a select bottle of wine for $100 per couple. Entree choices include Coq Au Vin, Salmon Piccata, and Smoked Prime Rib. For reservations, call 918-257-7777.
NEW YEAR'S EVE MEMBERS' WINE DINNER AT THE SUMMIT
There is no New Year's Eve event like the Shangri-La Members' Wine Dinner at the Summit Restaurant. This year's menu begins with pass-around hors d' oeuvres including Caviar & Creme Fraiche, Lobster Toast, Brussel Sprout Lollipops, and Shrimp Cocktail Shooters. Then - a five-course feast: Apple Crab Louie, Le Caprese Carpaccio, Tuna Romesco, Luxardo Lamb Chops, and a Chocolate-Orange Souffle Bomb. WOW! This is a guaranteed reservation event with limited space due to Covid-19 protocol. WATER AEROBICS CLASSES TAKE A HOLIDAY BREAK
Water Aerobics instructor Mary Ellen Risinger is taking a holiday break. Classes will resume every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 9:00-10:00 beginning January 5. THE SPA AT SHANGRI-LA
The Spa at Shangri-La will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day - but will be open regular hours otherwise. The Spa at Shangri-La is open four days a week - Thursday-Sunday, utilizing COVID-19 Protocol. Hours of operation are Thursday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. No walk-ins are accepted at this time - appointment only. Spa employees will wear masks and clients are urged to wear them also (but not required). The Spa lobby will not be open to the public - only clients who are there for appointments.

NEW MARINA HOURS - CLOSED SUNDAYS
Sail Grand boat rentals and parasailing is now closed for the season, and the marina is closed on Sundays throughout the winter. The docks and pump-out facilities have been winterized Winter hours of operation at the marina and Ship Store are 9:00-5:00 Monday-Saturday. The marina will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
