Spring-like Upcoming Weekend at Shangri-La
It’s another spring-like weekend in front of us, with high temperatures forecast to be pushing 70 degrees all weekend. It looks like another great weekend for golf and a little mid-winter boating!
Shangri-La teams are headed to the Kansas City Golf Show this weekend to spread the Shangri-La Resort news to our friends from the north. If you’re in the Kansas City area, the show is at the Overland Park Convention Center. Our culinary crew enjoyed a great Valentine’s Weekend of specially prepared delicacies – and they are now planning ahead to our big Mardi Gras Buffet on Saturday, February 25. Save the date…and make your reservations.
In the Buffalo Bar this weekend, our sports screens will be tuned to the Genesis Open tournament coverage from Pacific Palisades, California Thursday-Sunday, NBA All-Star basketball coverage Friday (Celebrity All-Star Game) and Saturday nights (Skills Competition); and Tulsa, Wichita State, Kansas and OU-OSU Bedlam basketball Saturday throughout the afternoon and evening.
