It’s a big weekend at Shangri-La! Saturday evening is our official celebration of Spring – our annual Members White-Out Party where “white” is the recommended attire of the evening. This year’s White-Out Party is a very special “Argentina Nights” menu featuring select Argentine wines from Thirst Wine Merchants, perfectly paired with Argentine dishes selected and prepared by Executive Chef Michael Bujold and the Summit Culinary Crew ($100 per person). The evening starts at 5:00 with complimentary hors d’ oeuvres and bubbly in the Buffalo Bar. Dinner in the Summit starts at 6:00. Each attending member will receive a gift bag, and there will be drawings for two spectacular gift baskets.
The golf course is very busy this weekend. If you need tee times, please call the Golf Shop as soon as possible. Monday, the SLWGA will be back on the course for their regular Play Day (Guess Your Score) and the Home of Hope team will be on the course Monday afternoon late.
SUNDAY BRUNCH AT DOC’S!
Don’t forget the ever-popular Sunday Brunch at Doc’s (9:00-2:00). Sunday Brunch at Doc’s is open to the general public. Brunch specials are priced between $14 and $15. This week’s specials include Italiano Benedict, a Pot Roast Breakfast Sandwich, CoCo-Nana French Toast, Southwest Chicken Caesar, and a Loaded BBQ Baked Potato.
Remember, too, that Doc’s Bar & Grill continues to offer Pizza Delivery Service on Monkey Island Thursday-Monday. There is a phone number dedicated exclusively to that service. If you live on the Island, just call 918-257-7777 and place your order. We’ll bring it right to your door.
SUMMER HOURS OF OPERATION
Shangri-La venues are now operating summer hours. Doc’s is open Sunday-Thursday from 7:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m., and Friday & Saturday from 7:00 a.m.-midnight. The Summit is open for service to members and resort guests Sunday from 10:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m., Monday-Wednesday from 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., and Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. Service at the Turn House is available daily from 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
The Spa at Shangri-La has expanded operations. They are open Sunday, Monday and Thursday from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Friday & Saturday from 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Although the Spa is closed Tuesday & Wednesday, services are available to groups with advance arrangements. Remember, Shangri-La members receive a 20% discount on Spa services!
Beginning May 1, Shangri-La Marina will also expand operations to seven-day-a-week – 9:00-5:00 Sunday-Thursday, 9:00-6:00 Friday & Saturday.
