Upcoming Events at Shangri-La April 4-10, 2019
The 2019 season officially gets underway this weekend for the Shangri-La Women’s Golf Association. Their membership meeting and luncheon followed by golf is set for Saturday; and their first Play Day of the year is Monday.
It’s a big Basketball Weekend for sports fans at Doc’s Bar & Grill. Thunder Basketball Friday night at 7:00, both NCAA Final Four Games Saturday beginning at 5:00, Thunder Basketball again Sunday afternoon at 2:30 – and the NCAA Championship Game Monday night at 8:00. Come join the fun and your friends at Doc’s!
Shangri-La venues are now operating summer hours. Doc’s is open Sunday-Thursday from 7:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m., and Friday & Saturday from 7:00 a.m.-midnight. The Summit is open for service to members and resort guests Sunday from 10:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m., Monday-Wednesday from 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., and Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. Service at the Turn House is available daily from 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
The Spa at Shangri-La has expanded operations. They are open Sunday, Monday and Thursday from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Friday & Saturday from 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Although the Spa is closed Tuesday & Wednesday, services are available to groups with advance arrangements. Remember, Shangri-La members receive a 20% discount on Spa services!
SUNDAY BRUNCH AT DOC’S!
Sunday is our popular “Sunday Brunch” at Doc’s Bar & Grill from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. All brunch special items are priced from $13-$14; and the Doc’s brunch is open to the public. Special menu selections this week include Ceviche Benedict, Loaded Breakfast Croissant, Rocky Road Pancakes, an Okie Breakfast Poutine, and Chicken Taco Salad.
Remember, too, that Doc’s Bar & Grill continues to offer Pizza Delivery Service on Monkey Island Thursday-Monday. There is a phone number dedicated exclusively to that service. If you live on the Island, just call 918-257-7777 and place your order. We’ll bring it right to your door.
