Upcoming Events at Shangri-La August 16-22, 2018
It’s a busy week on the golf course at Shangri-La again this week. Friday is the Annual Mary Moore Charity Classic with a full slate of players. Due to the afternoon play of the Mary Moore Tournament, there will be no “Yellow Rabbit Run” horse race this week, but it will be back next week. Sunday, players begin arriving for the Women’s Oklahoma Golf Association Partnership Championship Tournament which will be played Monday and Tuesday. Monday afternoon, the Home of Hope Special Olympics Team will also be on the course.
At the resort this week, in addition to WOGA Partnership Championship competitors, we are excited to welcome Farm Credit, Hogan Taylor LLP, and Community Bank Advisors.
We have a great band at Eddy’s Lakeside Bar Saturday night. Risky Business will perform from 8:00-11:00 Saturday night. Enjoy!
Chef Mike and his culinary crew also have a very special Sunday Brunch line-up for the Summit Restaurant this week (10:00-2:00). This week's menu choices include Traditional Eggs Benedict, a Smoked Salmon Bagel, Strawberry & Chocolate Mousse Waffles, and the "Okie Dokie" (two eggs, buscuits & gravy, bacon, season potatoes). As another option, Doc’s Bar & Grill now offers a weekend Breakfast Buffet from 7:00 a.m.-Noon on Saturdays and Sundays. Choose from a Continental Breakfast or a full buffet.
Doc’s Bar & Grill is Grand Lake’s favorite spot for watching sporting events. The restaurant is open daily for three meals, and now offers Pizza Delivery Service on Monkey Island Thursday-Monday. There is a phone number dedicated exclusively to that service. If you live on the Island, just call 918-257-7777 and place your order. We’ll bring it right to your door.
