Upcoming Events at Shangri-La June 14-20, 2018
It has been a busy start to the first month of summer – and the week ahead is no different. We had a great time Monday & Tuesday with the SLWGA La Tee Da Tournament – and we start this weekend on Thursday with Junior Players Play Day. We are looking forward to having the guys back on the course Saturday with the MGA 2-Man Shamble Tournament. The ladies will be back on the courseMonday with their regular Play Day, along with the Home of Hope Special Olympics Golf Team and our great volunteers.
Monday is also the kick-off day for the 2018 Junior Players Academy. That fun event runs through Wednesday. Who knows? We may be watching the development of some future PGA Professionals next week!
We have several outstanding groups joining us at Shangri-La this week, including the Edward Jones team from Region 16, Cimcool, Magellan Midstream, The Preserve Homeowners Association and a reception for member William Pettit and friends. Friday night, our Sales & Catering Teams will be working and sharing culinary delights at the “Waltz on the Wild Side” event at the Tulsa Zoo.
“Three Dollar Rocket” will be on stage Saturday night at Eddy’s Lakeside Bar from 8:00-11:00 p.m. Eddy’s will be open from 11:00-midnight Friday andSaturday – and from 11:00-6:00 Sunday.
Chef Michael and his culinary crew have a very special Sunday Brunch line-up for the Summit Restaurant this week (10:00-2:00). The regular Buffalo Bar Menu is available at 2:00. The Summit now offers dinner service Thursday-Sunday and lunch service Thursday-Monday. Bar service is available Tuesday-Wednesday11:00-6:00, as well – with food available from the expanded menu at The Turnhouse.
Doc’s Bar & Grill now offers Pizza Delivery Service on Monkey Island Thursday-Monday; and there is a phone number dedicated exclusively to that service. If you live on the Island, just call 918-257-7777 and place your order. We’ll bring it right to your door.
