Why don't golfers use hybrids for all their clubs?
The usual practice is to use hybrids to replace irons that are difficult for the golfer to play effectively. The choice becomes based on the golfer’s skill level. For example, professional golfers, who have lots of talent and lots of time to practice, tend to use irons rather than hybrids. They want the extra control provided by an iron and generally have no trouble playing long- and mid-irons.
High skilled amateurs and even some pros are replacing long irons (2,3) with hybrids. They trade precision for ease of use.
Low-skilled amateurs or those recreational golfers that don't have much time to practice will often replace long irons and mid-irons (4,5,6) with hybrids, keeping shorter irons (7,8,9) for the precision.

Wednesday Morning League for Senior men at Cherokee Grove. Just stop by the Cherokee Grove club house. This will be a Senior Men’s league for 60 and over playing 9 holes. $20 fee includes cart fee and entry in $5 skins game. (Members play for $10) Tee off each Wednesday promptly at 8 a.m. This Leaque has begun play. Lots of interest and good turnouts. Do not miss out.
