Duck Creek Fireworks
Dear Friends of the Fireworks:
The 2017 Duck Creek Fireworks show will take place on Monday, July 3rd. We will be celebrating the 241st Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the 77th Anniversary of Grand Lake! The U.S. Airforce F-16’s are confirmed and will be back. The World War II War Birds will be here. The fireworks show itself will be more impressive than ever with new never before seen shell displays. Special effort has gone into a special patriotic musical score. There will be a complete article coming about that soon. It will be a monumental show and the BEST yet, I GUARANTEE IT!
The SPARK PLUG DINNER is Friday, June 23rd at Cherokee Yacht Club. Social hour begins at 6:30 pm with a flyover from the War Birds (so don’t be late), dinner at 7:00 and concluded with a traditional three item auction. Spark Plugs are an elite group that have donated at least $500 and receive a private invitation for dinner for two. The evening consists of hors d'oeuvres, drinks, & dinner; this is all the compliments of Joe Harwood as a thank you for making the DUCK CREEK FIREWORKS possible. This dinner is not charged to the fireworks fund.
