Grand Lakes Premier Food and Wine Tasting Event Taste of Grand Saturday

Culinary connoisseurs will travel from near and far this Saturday for Grand Lake’s premier food and wine tasting event, Taste of Grand.

An annual fundraiser for the Integris Grove Hospital Foundation, Taste of Grand showcases the talents of local restaurants and vintners.

From 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, Taste of Grand guests get to sample some of the finest dishes and drinks served in the Grand Lake area.

With more than 40 food and wine vendors offering decadently delicious food and drinks, the event is sure to delight your taste buds. Each vendor will have an individual tent that is open to everyone attending.

In addition to sampling culinary creations, wines and spirits, the casual, yet elegant evening includes live entertainment and a wine pull.

Back by popular demand, the Wes Hart Band will be once again have Taste of Grand guests dancing the night away. The Wes Hart Band covers a diverse selection of musical styles.

The wine pull will feature a larger variety of wines this year. The wine selection from popular and emerging wineries from all over the world will include moderately priced wines to expensive bottles of wine best saved for a special occasion. The wine pull is $25 for each bottle of wine.

With all the fun and camaraderie of Taste of Grand, the purpose of the event provides much more to the community than just a delightful night under the stars. All proceeds from the Taste of Grand benefit Integris Grove Hospital Foundation, a nonprofit organization that funds continuing advancements in local health care and medical treatments for those in need.

The Foundation provides community support by funding other local health needs that ease some of Grand Lake residents’ financial burdens and several local programs. Some examples of programs that benefit from Taste of Grand include the Townsend Children’s Fund, the Patient in Need Fund, Cancer Fund and AED Fund.
