Ribbon Cutting - Simple Simon's Pizza
The Grove Area Chamber of Commerce had the immense honor of holding a Ribbon Cutting for Grove’s newest addition, Simple Simon’s Pizza – the day before their Grand Opening!
Though the store was buzzing with workers preparing for the big day, franchise owner Chris Morrison was gracious enough to spend a little time telling the Chamber Ambassadors about his dream for Grove’s Simple Simon’s location: “I tried to run away from the pizza business,” said Chris, the son of pizza restaurant owners, “but pizza is literally everywhere!”
After years of being a project manager, Chris wanted to make a life for himself and his family in the Grove area away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Though Chris didn’t want to admit it at first, wife Tara knew that the pizza-life was in their near future. A year or so later, the building is up, and the pizza (and Calizones!) is ready to be served. If you’ve never tried Simple Simon’s Pizza, the Calizone is their claim-to-fame as well as their 30 inch (yes – 2 and half feet) “The Beast” pizza.
