Langley's Hayes LP Gas Merges With Centergas Fuels

Branch manager Crystal Shallenburger continues to handle the day-to-day operations of Centergas Fuels of Langley.
Langley, Okla. — For more than 21 years, Hayes LP Gas has been providing safe and reliable propane services to residents and businesses throughout northeast Oklahoma.
John and Sherry Hayes founded the family-owned and operated company in 1997. Their Langley-based business quickly built a reputation for offering first-rate customer service and honest, dependable propane services.
After years of meeting the propane needs of their neighbors in the Grand Lake area and surrounding communities, the couple decided it was time to step back and enjoy retirement.
Their decision to retire prompted a merger between Hayes LP Gas and Centergas Fuels, Inc. On Nov. 1, 2018, Hayes LP Gas became Centergas Fuels of Langley.
“Centergas Fuels is an established company with 43 years of experience that serves Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas and Missouri,” said Crystal Shallenburger, branch manager of Centergas Fuels of Langley.
Shallenburger is a familiar name and face to Hayes LP Gas customers. She is the daughter of John and Sherry Hayes and has worked for the family company since 1997. She continues to handle the day-to-day operations of Centergas Fuels of Langley.
In fact, the entire friendly team of knowledgeable professionals remains the same. John Hayes and David Doherty will continue to be the same friendly drivers delivering to your home or business.
The only change customers will notice is the name of the company. Scheduling, billing and all other services will still be handled in the local office at 889 3rd St. on Highway 28, in Langley.
Centergas Fuels of Langley will continue to operate under the principles established by John and Sherry Hayes back in 1997:

“Merging with a bigger company, like Centergas Fuels, will allow us to stay more competitive with pricing,” Shallenburger said. “A benefit our customers are sure to appreciate.”
The merger will also allow Centergas Fuels of Langley to expand its service area by arranging for other Centergas Fuels facilities to provide services outside the local office’s area.
Centergas Fuels of Langley offers propane sales and service. Propane storage tanks are also available for sale or lease. The tanks come in a variety of sizes, ranging from 125 gallon to 1.000 gallon, and include both new and refurbished tanks for above ground or underground storage.
Since the merger, Shallenburger has also taken on the day-to-day operations for the Centergas Fuels facilities in Fairland and Southwest City. Propane customers in those service areas now have a local office to handle all their propane needs.
