Press Release For GOP Meeting
The Delaware County Republicans will conduct their monthly meeting
on Monday, March 29 at 6:00PM. The meeting will be held at Trinity
Baptist Church, located at 4 th & Main in Grove, at 6:00PM. Currently
serving as the National RNC Committeewoman for the State of
Oklahoma, Pam Pollard will be the guest speaker. Ms. Pollard’s topic
will be “2020 +1.” She will be sharing the role of the media in 21 st
century politics.
Pam Pollard was elected Republican National Committeewoman in August 2020. She served as
State Chairman of the Oklahoma Republican Party from 2015-2019. Pam was responsible for
overseeing the 2016 election of Donald Trump for President, winning the state with 65% of the
vote, and the 2018 election of Kevin Stitt for Governor making history as the first time a
Republican was elected following a 2-term Republican Governor. Oklahoma also made history
in 2018 electing Republicans to every statewide office following the term-limited office holders
from the Republican takeover in 2010.
Pam was first elected Chairman in 2015 and at the time was the State President of the OK
Federation of Republican Women and Treasurer-elect of the National Federation of Republican
Women, holding all 3 offices for the last quarter of the year. Pam has served as State GOP Vice
Chair and OK County Chairman, holding political Party office for the last 16 years. Her work
has been recognized by the many state and national awards received from several organizations.
Known for her grassroots experience, Pam has served as OK Deputy Director for Americans for
Prosperity, winning their Grassroots Activist of the Year Award at their national Defending the
Dream Conference in 2007.
Pam graduated East Central University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and owned an
accounting and computer business for 25 years. Using her financial experience, Pam has written
training manuals for treasurers for several political organizations. Along with political financial
experience, Pam specializes in grassroots training and public speaking, having created a
grassroots educational program for political activists called OKGOP-U.
Pam has served on the Board and treasurer of the military support group, The HUGS Project,
Commissioner on the OK Commission on the Status of Women and currently serves on OK's
Behavioral Health Licensing Board. She is very active with local charities and a leader in her
church serving both as class teacher and pianist.
Pam is a native of Florida and attending college on a softball scholarship before moving to
Oklahoma.
She and her husband Glenn have 6 children and are the proud grandparents of 14 beautiful
grandchildren.
The doors open at 5:30 for registration. All registered Republicans are
encouraged to attend.
