Grand River Dam Authority Floodwater Release Bulletin
For immediate release: 3/27/23
At 12:30 pm on Monday, March 27:
- Grand Lake elevation was 746.00 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, two (2) main spillway gates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 17,334 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,644 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 30,978 cfs.
- Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 11,707 cfs.
- Lake Hudson elevation was 619.71 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, ten (10) gates were open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 6,960 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Three (3) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 23,220 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 30,180 cfs.
- Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 33,680 cfs.
