Citizen's Education

Two organizations supporting citizen education and safety were in the Grove area were recently awarded $3,200 in grants by the Grove Rotary Club.

The Grove Citizens Police Academy Alumni received a $2,000 award to support activities of the Grove Youth Police Academy, the Grove Citizens Police Academy and the Grove Police Department’s VIP program. The chair of Grove Rotary’s Charitable Giving Committee Kristi Wallace presented the check to Ron Lane.

The America’s Boating Club Grand Lake received a $1,200 grant from the chair of Grove Rotary’s Charitable Giving Committee Kristi Wallace for boating safety and education materials and for vessel inspector’s equipment. Mary Alice Moore and Kevin Kamrath accepted the check.
