Rotary Grants

Grove Rotary recently provided grants to two organizations totaling $2,000 that comfort residents with quilts and baby blankets.

The Grand Lake O’ Cherokee Quilt Guild makes quilts to donate to needy individuals. Jody Wilson accepted the $1,000 Grove Rotary donation from Kristi Wallace, chair of the Charitable Giving Committee.

Ginger Green of the Women’s Auxiliary Association of Monkey Island (WAAMI) accepted a $1,000 Grove Rotary donation to purchase material to make baby blankets. Presenting the check was Kristi Wallace, chair of the Charitable Giving Committee.
