"Egg My Yard" Fundraiser for Second Chance Pet Rescue
Second Chance Pet Rescue's First Annual "Egg My Yard" Fundraiser is a fun way to support the non-profit animal rescue organization. Your children, grandchildren, or favorite Easter Egg loving person could wake up on Easter morning, April 21, to the surprise of finding their yard filled with colorful plastic Easter eggs stuffed with treats.
How do you get your yard "egged" you may ask? Second Chance Pet Rescue has made the ordering easy. You can order securely and safely online via https://www.secondchancepetsponsors.org/egg-my-yard.html. Or you may stop by the shelter located at 64301 E. 290 Road (2 miles east of downtown Grove on Highway 10) to place your order. To "Egg My Yard", you choose how many treat filled plastic colored eggs you want delivered to your house: 25 eggs for $15, 50 eggs for $25, or 100 eggs for $45. You will also need to choose the night that you want them delivered, either Friday, April 19 or Saturday, April 20. The shelter office will need all your basic information in order to deliver the eggs (NOTE: Your address must be within a 15 mile radius of the shelter for coordinated deliveries by the volunteers). You will be asked specifically in what part of your yard you would like the eggs to be placed; for example, the front yard or the side yard. Please make sure that any outdoor animals are safely put away.
Second Chance Pet Rescue Easter Bunny volunteers will let you know once the egg deliveries have been scheduled and what time you may expect the eggs to be placed in your yard. In case of heavy rain, your eggs will be placed in a basket on your porch or by your front door with a note from the Easter Bunny. Hurry and place your order for "Egg My Yard" as delivery dates and times are filling up, and you don't want to miss out on this fun way to surprise your children or grandchildren on Easter morning with a yard filled with colorful Easter eggs stuffed with treats.
All of the proceeds from "Egg My Yard" will go to help Second Chance Pet Rescue continue to provide outstanding care to the homeless pets in its shelter. Second Chance Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no kill animal rescue organization. It does not receive funding from city, state, or federal government entities or from other national animal rescue organizations.
