"Rescue the Rescue" at Food Truck Friday in Downtown Grove
On Friday, August 2, come support Second Chance Pet Rescue of Grand Lake at the Food Truck Friday event in downtown Grove, OK, from 4 to 9 pm. Volunteers from Second Chance Pet Rescue will be collecting monetary donations for its operational expenses while its Second Chance Thrift Shop is being rebuilt.
The Second Chance Thrift Shop was badly damaged in the Grove area flooding on June 23. The Thrift Shop provides the majority of the monetary support to the non-profit animal rescue of Second Chance Pet Rescue to house, feed, vaccinate, medicate, spay/neuter and find homes for the hundreds of homeless and abused dogs and cats that find their way to this rescue.
Please come to Grove's Food Truck Friday in downtown Grove sponsored by the Grove Convention and Tourism Bureau on Friday, August 2, and help support Second Chance Pet Rescue with your monetary donation. Enjoy the food trucks plus live music by Chloe Goff, antique cars will be on display, and an inflatable for the kids. KGVE Radio 99.3 will be doing a live broadcast during this event.
To all the businesses, churches, and civic organizations: Create your own way to collect monetary donations for Second Chance Pet Rescue. Then, when you come to Food Truck Friday, drop off your collected donation and 99.3 KGVE will put you on the air to promote your business, church, or civic organization.
