4th of July weekend at Shangri-La
We might as well go ahead and start the holiday fun right now. With the 4th of July being on Tuesday this year, we will have extended hours of operation. The Summit Restaurant will extend hours to include dinner service on Monday and Tuesday in addition to our regular hours. Eddy’s Lakeside Bar will also be open Monday and Tuesday in addition to the regular Friday, Saturday, Sunday operation. The marina and ship store will also have extended hours of operation throughout the weekend.
If you are interested in the Monkey Island Fireworks, they will be staged Sunday night, July 2 at Grand Lake Regional Airport.
We welcome Northeastern Health Systems to Shangri-La this week, as well as the Payne Golf Group who are enjoying three days of Shangri-La golf Thursday-Saturday. This week's Fridayevening “Yellow Rabbit Run” horse race will be an alternate shot 2-man format (5:00 p.m.) and the Women’s Golf Association’s Monday play day will feature a Blind Holes format.
With lots of people at the lake this weekend, it is a popular “annual homeowners association meeting” weekend. We are delighted to host the Shangri-La Place homeowners and the St. Andrews homeowners for their meetings Saturday.
