A Chilly and Fun Filled Weekend at Shangri-La

Chilly weather means more time for watching your favorite sporting events by the fireplace at the Buffalo Bar – and there are plenty of options this week.  The PGA’s top players are paired off for the Franklin Templeton Shootout this weekend.  We’ll have complete coverage beginning at 1:00Thursday-Saturday.
 
There’s a good NFL schedule this week, too! Thursday night action features an old rivalry as the Kansas City Chiefs head to Oakland to face the Raiders. Sunday’s featured NFL games include Denver at Tennessee, Washington at Philadelphia, and New Orleans at Tampa Bay.
 
There’s some good roundball activity this week, as well. Friday night NBA action doesn’t get any better – as Hardin and the Rockets come to OKC to face Westbrook and the Thunder (7:00 tip-off). Saturday’s top college games include Wichita State at Oklahoma and Oklahoma State at Tulsa.  We’ll also wrap up the regular season for college football with the traditional Army/Navy game Saturday at 2:00.
 
If you haven’t already done so, be sure to make reservations for two big upcoming events you won’t want to miss. Our annual Christmas Brunch with Santa will be Sunday, December 18.  It’s one of Chef Kevin’s most fabulous buffet offerings of the year – plus an opportunity for festive photos with St. Nick himself!
 
Also, be sure to make your reservations now to join us once again for a very special New Year’s Eve Wine Dinner ($125) beginning with cocktails at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 31.
 
Keep an eye on the weather.  The weekend starts out chilly with a high temperature in the mid-30s; but things get better as we go. Saturday’s high will be in the upper 40s – and Sunday will be the best golf day, with a high pushing 55.
