Beautiful Weekend at Shangri-La

The past few days have been incredibly busy on the golf course with the fabulous Mary Moore Tournament, the MGA 4-Man Best Ball competition, the SLWGA Grand Lady Tournament and the USGA Men’s & Women’s Mid-Am Qualifier – and we’re still at it!
 
The Friday night “Yellow Rabbit Run” Horse Race returns at 5:00 Friday ($10 entry). Sign up at the Golf Shop if you would like to join the fun. The Doughboys return to Shangri-La for their annual competition this weekend along with the Rex Wilson Golf Group. Sunday, we’ll start three days of great camaraderie and competition in the annual Shangri-La Couples Invitational.
 
We are also pleased to welcome several conferences, retreats and getaway groups at Shangri-La this week including the Oklahoma Tourism Commission who are spending a couple of days with us and holding their monthly Commission meeting here. We’re also happy to host Hub International, the Tulsa Federal Credit Union, M-D Building Products and, of course, several out-of-the-area couples who will be competing in our Couples Invitational.
 
If you haven’t already seen the awesome 30-minute special production of “Grand Living on Grand Lake” that spotlights a “Day in the Life of a Family at Shangri-La,” please take the time to give it a view. It is a very well done presentation of all there is to do at Shangri-La. It is available on line at rsu.tv/grand-living-on-grand-lake/ and it is the season 4 episode 10 program. We are really grateful to host Kristi Wallace and producer/director Stevie Fernandez for all the planning and hard work putting together such a wonderful special on Shangri-La.
 
Remember, the Spa at Shangri-La is now open at the hotel Wednesday-Sunday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Call 918-257-4204, Extension 7008 for reservations for massage therapy, manicures, pedicures, IV therapy, Botox or filler treatment. The girls at the spa also have mani-pedi packages for kids!
