Fabulous Weekend at Shangri-La

The Shangri-La Team is all about preparing for the Tulsa Boat, Sport & Travel Show which opens Monday night and continues through Super Bowl Sunday, February 4. In addition to our Nichols Marine at Shangri-La crew featuring seven different boat lines, our Group Sales team will be spreading the word about Shangri-La’s unique amenities. Perhaps the biggest attraction at the boat show will be our display of President John F. Kennedy’s personal speedboat “Restofus” which was purchased by Shangri-La owner Eddy Gibbs last fall. Following the Tulsa show, the 17-foot mahogany 1961 Century Resorter will make the lobby of Shangri-La Resort Hotel its permanent home.
 
Chef Michael has put together another fabulous menu for this week’s Sunday Brunch at the Summit. This week’s menu features Traditional Eggs Benedict with breakfast potatoes ($12), a Chicken ‘n’ Waffle Sandwich with bacon & potatoes ($15), butter pecan pancakes with a side of bacon ($12), and a Frittata Italiano with seasoned breakfast potatoes ($15). The full Buffalo Bar menu is available Sunday, as well.

Valentine's Day is just around the corner and our culinary crew has the perfect gift - Valentine's-to-Go from our food & beverage team. We are offering a dozen chocolate covered strawberries ($24), a dozen red velvet cake pops ($36), a dozen Valentine macaroons ($28) or mini chocolate ganache cakes ($15 each). By the way, Doc’s Bar & Grill is a great place to get away or entertain friends & family no matter what time of day. Doc’s is open seven days a week from 7:00 a.m. until midnight with great menu selections day or night!
