Great Golf Weekend at Shangri-La

We have cooler weather forecast for the weekend – but it looks great for late fall golf outings – and maybe a little sports action on the big screens at the Buffalo Bar and Doc’s.
 
In addition to Greg Norman’s great QBE Shark Shootout Friday-Sunday, there’s Thunder Basketball, OU and OSU basketball, great NFL games, the Army-Navy Classic and, of course, the Heisman Trophy Award Presentation Saturday night. We all have our fingers crossed for Baker Mayfield.
 
We are delighted to have some great guests celebrating the holidays with us at Shangri-La this week. We welcome the Grove Rotary Club, Compassus Hospice, and the Integris Grove Hospital Holiday Party – all celebrating the season at Shangri-La this week.
 
There are two big events coming up this month. Be sure to make your reservations at the Summit for the Saturday Brunch with Santa on December 16 from 10 a.m.-2:00 p.m. – especially if you have little ones. We’ll be making some memories with St. Nick himself on hand for the festivities and professional photography by Gary Metcalf available. The brunch buffet is $30 for adults, $15 for kids under 12 – and we’ll have a special activity in the Charles Davis Room where kids can design their own Christmas Cookies with Pastry Chef Julie Morgan.
 
If you haven’t already made reservations for our New Year’s Eve Members’ Wine Dinner, please do so. As always, space is limited for this wonderful evening of fun, food, and great wine. We’ll start with a special hors d’ oeuvre party at 5:30 followed by an exquisite dinner at 6:30. Cost for this always-memorable event is $150 per person.
 
Remember, Doc’s Bar & Grill is open daily from 7:00 a.m. until midnight – and the Spa at Shangri-La is open at the hotel Wednesday from 10:00-3:00 and Thursday-Sunday 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.Call for reservations for massage therapy, manicures, pedicures, IV therapy, Botox or filler treatment.
