Incredible Weekend at Shangri-La

It looks like an incredible weekend ahead with sunshine and high temperatures pushing 90 with lows around 70 degrees. That’s good, because Shangri-La is a busy place. Doc’s Bar & Grill and Eddy’s Lakeside Bar are both open, as well as the Summit Restaurant and Buffalo Bar. Enjoy.
 
Today is the last day of a terrific Junior Players Academy. We had 68 youngsters participate in our four-day event.  The 2017 Trappers Club meets up on the Shangri-La Golf Course today and tomorrow. Friday, they’ll be joined by players from Northwestern Mutual, as well as the Bushwood Golf Group. Saturday, the Wildcat Golf Group chimes in, as well as players here to attend the Richey/Perdew Wedding.
 
Our regular Horse Race is canceled for Friday this week, due to so many of our regular horse race participants being involved in the Trappers Club events. Monday and Tuesday are really big days for the Shangri-La Women’s Golf Association as they hold their annual Shangri-La Tee Da Tournament.
 
Remember, we are now open for golf seven-days-a-week. The Summit Restaurant and Buffalo Bar are also open to members and resort guests seven days a week for lunch – and Thursday-Sundayfor dinner. Eddy’s Lakeside Bar is open from 11:00 a.m. Friday, Saturday & Sunday, and Doc’s Bar & Grill is open from 7:00 a.m.-midnight daily.
