Mother's Day Weekend at Shangri-La

It’s a great week at Shangri-La! We had a wonderful time with the ladies Monday as the Shangri-La Women’s Golf Association hosted their annual Member/Guest Play Day. They certainly went to a lot of effort matching up their clothing to the “Safari Golf” theme.
 
Friday evening is the “Yellow Rabbit Run” Horse Race. Entry fee is $10, if you’d like to join the fun. Sign up in the Golf Shop. Saturday, the Men’s Golf Association takes to the course for the MGA Fourball Tournament. We also have a Cobra Golf Demo Day event Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. We are also excited to have the Boondoggle Golf Group playing at Shangri-La this week.
 
If you don’t already have reservations for Chef Michael’s incredible Mother’s Day Sunday Brunch Buffet at the Summit Restaurant, please call 918-257-4200 as soon as you can. This is always our most popular Sunday brunch of the year. Our culinary team has outdone themselves for this great event which runs from 10:00-3:00 on Sunday. Happy Mother’s Day!
 
Monday, the SLWGA will be back on the course for their regular weekly play day (it’s also a Grand Lady Qualifying day). Remember, we are now open for golf seven-days-a-week. The Summit Restaurant and Buffalo Bar are also open to members seven days a week for lunch – and Thursday-Sunday for dinner, as well. We had a terrific opening weekend at Eddy’s Lakeside Bar at the marina last weekend – and we’re back with more “Fun Food” on the deck this weekend – Friday-Sundayfrom 11:00 a.m.
