LIVE MUSIC SATURDAY & SUNDAY AT THE SUMMIT

The Summit and Buffalo Bar are open for dinner service Friday & Saturday evenings for members and hotel guests only – and open to the public Sunday evenings.

Terry Jordan will be entertaining at the Summit Restaurant both Saturday and Sunday nights from 6:00-9:00.

SUNDAY BRUNCH AT DOC’S!

Sunday Brunch at Doc’s is served from 9:00-2:00. Regular breakfast menu items are available until 11:00 a.m. with lunch menu items available after 11:00. Doc’s is always open to the general public; and brunch specials are priced at $14-16. This week's Sunday Brunch specials include Mama's Special Benedict, a Pulled Pork Sandwich, Strawberry Sunshine Pancakes, a Geaux Tigers Skillet, and Burnt Ends Mac & Cheese.

Remember, too, that Doc’s Bar & Grill offers Pizza Delivery Service on Monkey Island Thursday-Monday. There is a phone number dedicated exclusively to that service. If you live on the Island, just call 918-257-7777 and place your order. We’ll bring it right to your door.

WATER AEROBICS CLASSES MONDAY & WEDNESDAY!

Another great amenity is available to Shangri-La members and their guests made a great debut last week. Certified instructor Mary Ellen Risinger leads water aerobics classes at the indoor pool at the resort hotel every Monday & Wednesday at 8:30 and 10:00 a.m. Classes are $15 each – or $60 for the entire month!

BLAZIN’ HOT TACOS & TEQUILA TUESDAY, WINE WEDNESDAY AT DOC’S

We have a special Tuesday Night Trivia event next week. “Blazin’ Hot Tacos & Tequila” will have a $10 admission charge Tuesday night from 6:00-9:00 at Doc’s. Proceeds benefit the Grove Fire Department. Come show your community support at this fun event!

DOC’S FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICE MOVES TO ROOSEVELT BALLROM

Wednesday, January 15, Doc’s Bar & Grill Food & Beverage Service will move to the Roosevelt Ballroom while we spend eight days doing a little remodeling at Doc’s and installing our new Whiskey Kitchen! We’ll still have the same hours of operation at Doc’s. Our members & guests will just relax in the Roosevelt Ballroom instead of Doc’s. Enjoy our select wines at half-price in the Roosevelt Ballroom on Wine Wednesday from 5:00 ‘til close!

Be sure and mark your calendar for our new Doc’s menu sampling and debut of the whiskey kitchen at our “Whiskey Kitchen Blues Bash & BBQ” featuring samples of new menu items and music by Wanda Watson Saturday, January 25 from 6:00-11:00 at Doc’s ($30 admission charge includes samples of all new menu items). SHANGRI-LOW GOLF SPECIAL!

It’s a fun promotion for the chilly days. From now until Daily Saving Time begins March 8, Shangri-La Golf Club offers a daily SHANGRI-LW golf special. Just check the predicted low temperature for the day on weather.com – and that’s the rate you pay for 18 holes. If the predicted low temperature is 30 degrees, you pay $30. Plus…ask for our “Winter Golf Cart Package” and your cart will have a full cover. For an additional $10, you can even rent a propane heater to warm your cart.

There’s no need to avoid the course in cold weather. Just take advantage of our Shangri-LOW golf special and our covered, heated carts!

The Nichols Marine at Shangri-La Sales Team will be in Oklahoma City this weekend for the OKC Boat, RV & Tackle show at the Bennett Event Center at the State Fairgrounds (Friday-Sunday). Our Sales & Catering Team will be on duty at the Northwest Arkansas Women’s Expo at the Encore Event Center in Springdale (Saturday-Sunday).
