BLACK FRIDAY SEAFOOD BUFFET

Chef Mike has outdone himself with this year’s incredible Black Friday Seafood Buffet at the Summit Restaurant. This fabulous feast is an annual favorite for Shangri-La members and their guests. Stuffed Crab Shells, Fried Shrimp, Bourbon Mustard Glazed Salmon, New England Stuffed Haddock, Snow Crab Legs, Japanese Sea Bass Ceviche, a Hawaiian Poke Tuna Bar, an Oyster Bar, Prime Rib, and Smoked Salmon represent just a few of the offerings at this traditional dinner, topped by Chef Julie’s favorite selections of desserts. COOKING WITH CHEF MIKE SATURDAY

Make your reservations to participate in Chef Mike’s cooking class Saturday, November 30 at 2:00 p.m. in the Holderman Ballroom. Cost of this final November class is $25. There will also be a cash bar, of course, to enhance your skills. Reservations must be made no later than noon Friday. Contact Katelin Threet at 918-257-7720.

In December, Chef Mike’s classes will be more hands-on…with a limited number of participants. The $45 per class cost of the December classes includes complete hands-on cooking by participating teams of two people. December classes will be a little longer due to the total involvement by attendees in the cooking process. December classes will be from 1:00-4:00 p.m. December 7, 14, and 21. Don’t worry about signing up to come alone – we’ll pair you up with someone if you don’t already have a cooking partner. The deadline for signing up for each class is noon Friday the day before each Saturday afternoon class. BEDLAM FOOTBALL TAILGATE & WATCH PART SATURDAY

Saturday night kick-off time is 7:00 – but come to Doc’s early for our Bedlam Tailgate, and stick around for Monkey Island’s best watch party.  We’ll have some fantastic Bedlam Specials including pizza, wings, and pizza/wings combination specials.

NEW MENU AND LIVE MUSIC AT THE SUMMIT

The Summit and Buffalo Bar will be open for dinner service through the winter – open Friday & Saturday evenings for members and hotel guests only – and open to the public Sunday evenings.

We have an all new dinner menu and a great entertainment addition for the winter months at the Summit. Popular entertainer Terry Jordan performs from 6:00-9:00 p.m. every Saturday & Sunday evening through March. We’re very excited about having such incredible talent available for our members & guests throughout the winter!

SUNDAY BRUNCH AT DOC’S!

Sunday Brunch at Doc’s is served from 9:00-2:00. Regular breakfast menu items are available until 11:00 a.m. with lunch menu items available after 11:00. Doc’s is always open to the general public; and brunch specials are priced at $14-$15.  This week's Sunday Brunch Specials include TurkeyDinner Benedict, Ham Salad Sandwich, Chocolate Peanut Butter Pancakes, Shepherd's Pie, and Pulled Pork Smothered Biscuits. 

Remember, too, that Doc’s Bar & Grill offers Pizza Delivery Service on Monkey Island Thursday-Monday. There is a phone number dedicated exclusively to that service. If you live on the Island, just call 918-257-7777 and place your order. We’ll bring it right to your door.

TRIVIA, TACOS & TEQUILA TUESDAY

Don’t forget to mark your calendar to join us every Tuesday evening for Trivia, Tacos & Tequila Tuesday at Doc’s from 6:00-9:00 p.m. It’s great fun, great food, and great beverages. Trivia competition hosted by our own Jason Morgan, $3 award-winning tacos (or 3 for $8) and a variety of tequila choices including $5 margarita specials.

WOMEN’S WEDNESDAY – HALF-PRICE WINE AT DOC’S

Another great weekly event at Doc’s is “Women’s Wine Wednesday” featuring select wines either by the bottle or by the drink at half-price from 5:00 p.m. until close each Wednesday. “Hump Day” is suddenly “Fun Day!”
