LAST SHRIMP BOIL OF THE YEAR TONIGHT!

Tonight will be the last night of the year for the popular Thursday Night Shrimp Boil from 6:00-9:00).Take your choice on the Shrimp Boil selections. Shrimp is $23 for a pount or $12 for a half-pound. If you like, you can select half shrimp and half Andouille sausage for $23. Jason Morgan will provide the karaoke entertainment - so bring your appetite and your singing voice and join the fun TONIGHT and every Thursday night.

Next Thursday, October 8, marks the return of the popular Prime Rib Thursday Night & Karaoke at Doc's. In addition to Jason Morgan's always-fun karaoke, you can enjoy a fabulous Prime Rib Dinner with all the fixin's for $25 next Thursday and every Thursday.

DOC'S IS OPEN EVERY DAY FOR DINE-IN SERVICE!

Doc's Bar & Grill at the resort hotel is now open for lunch and dinner seven days a week. Hours of operation are 11:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. Friday & Saturday. If you're a sports fan, there's no better place to enjoy your favorite sporting event on a wide array of big-screen televisions!  This week, we'll feature OSU-Kansas (2:30), Texas Tech at Kansas State (2:30), OU at Iowa State (6:30) and Tulsa at UCF (6:30) on Saturday. Sunday NFL games will include Cleveland at Dallas (noon) and New England at Kansas City (3:30). If you would rather watch the game at home or host your own get-together, to-go orders are offered at Doc's daily. SUMMIT RESTAURANT  - FOOD & BEVERAGE FOR MEMBERS & GUESTS 

The Summit Restaurant is open for lunch (11:00-5:00) for members and resort guests daily. Dinner service is offered Thursday & Sunday until 9:00 p.m. and Friday & Saturday until 10:00. Terry Jordan will entertain Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings at The Summit. Club house food & beverage service is also available at The Turn House daily from 8:00-6:00.

WEEKLY SEAFOOD SPECIAL THURSDAY-SUNDAY AT THE SUMMIT!

Our friends at Honolulu Fish Company went fishing out of bounds and brought us back a special treat this week - Halibut!!  It was literally caught, cleaned, packaged and shipped direct to Monkey Island! It was a freak thing and we took full advantage. 

Our Special Dinner offering is "Dutch Harbor Halibut" - Herb-Garlic Pan Seared Halibut, Baby Shrimp Fritti, Creamed Leeks, Demi-Glace, and a Tomato-Caper Beurre Blanc, priced at $40 per serving.

You may want to mention that you want to reserve the "Seafood Special" when you make your reservations at the Summit, because we only have 40 servings available.

GOLF, GOLF AND MORE GOLF

There's a full schedule of awesome golf at Shangri-La this weekend. The fun starts Thursday evening at 5:00 with the Thursday Night Scramble. Friday night, the "Yellow Rabbit Run" Horse Race gets underway at 5:00 p.m. Contact the Golf Shop if you would like to participate. Saturday night is another horse race - an Alternate Shot Horse Race at 4:00 for participants in Sunday's 10th Annual Western Son Folds of Honor Classic presented by Armada Distributing, honoring and supporting the Folds of Honor Foundation. We have more than a full field for that event, by the way - 152 players! The Shangri-La Women's Golf Association will be on the course Monday morning for their annual "Golf for the Cure" play day & fundraiser. 18-holers start at 9:00 and 9-holers tee off at 10:00. The weather looks great. It's going to be a beautiful weekend for golf at Shangri-La. 

WATER AEROBICS TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS

Certified instructor Mary Ellen Risinger is back and Water Aerobics Classes have resumed - but at a new time. Classes will be held Tuesday and Thursday at 9:00 a.m. at the indoor pool at the resort. THE SPA AT SHANGRI-LA

The Spa at Shangri-La is now open four days a week with expanded hours of operation - Thursday-Sunday, utilizing COVID-19 Protocol. Hours of operation are Thursday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. No walk-ins are accepted at this time - appointment only. Spa employees will wear masks and clients are urged to wear them also (but not required). The Spa lobby will not be open to the public - only clients who are there for appointments.

BOAT RENTALS  AND PARASAILING AVAILABLE

Sail Grand still has pontoons, tritoons, jet boats, and personal watercraft available for rental at Shangri-La Marina, as well as yacht charter service and Oklahoma's only parasailing adventures. Contact Sail Grand directly for reservations. 918-257-6000.  Shangri-La Marina (including fuel, pump-out and Ship Store services) is open seven days a week from 9:00-5:00 utilizing COVID-19 Protocol.
