Shangri-La to Host Folds of Honor Classic Sunday

Sunday, October 7, Shangri-La Golf Club will host the 8th Annual Folds Classic presented by Boardwalk Distribution. The tournament is an open event and all proceeds benefit the Folds of Honor Foundation.

The organization is committed to giving back to the spouses and children of wounded and deceased United States service men and women through scholarship and other assistant programs. Over the past seven years, Shangri-La Golf Club has helped to raise over $100,000 for the Folds Foundation. Shangri-La PGA Director of Golf Rob Yanovitch is looking for a full slate of players this year in hopes of driving that number much higher.
The event is a 4-player scramble. The field is limited to 144 players and each 4-player team will be paired with another (there will be 2 individual teams on each hole playing together as 8-somes).

Each entry includes golf, lunch, tee prizes, scoreboard watch party and entry into the popular door prize pool. Past prizes have included golf bags, golf clubs, great golf merchandise, rounds of golf at regional golf courses, gift certificates to popular lake and community spots in Tulsa, OKC and surrounding areas.

Individual players may enter the tournament for as little as $175. Team sponsorship rates are available from $625 (including 4-player team) to $850 (including a 4-player team and hole sponsorship). A variety of additional participation levels is available, ranging from hole sponsorships for $250 to $2,500 lunch or hole-in-one sponsorships.

Registration and lunch are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Sunday, October 7 at Shangri-La Golf Club with play beginning at 1:00 p.m. At 6:00 p.m. Pickers Vodka will host a happy hour and scoreboard watch party with door prizes and silent auction items.
