Shangri-La weekly updates

We’re pulling for the Shangri-La Women’s Golf Association! The Shangri-La Green Country Inter Club Team plays their last tournament of the year today (Thursday) – and they are only one shot out of the lead for the season’s Overall Low Gross championship. Let’s hope playing on their home course today gives them the edge that sparks them to victory!
 
This week’s “Yellow Rabbit Run” Horse Race is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. Friday. Contact the Golf Shop if you would like to sign up ($10 entry). Monday, the SLWGA ladies will be back on the course for their regular Monday Play Day with a “Quota” format this week.
 
We also have some great groups joining us at the resort and on the golf course again this week. We are delighted to welcome the Mayfield Golf Group, the OKC Police Department, The Oklahoma Association of General Contractors, Zenith Insurance, Jane Phillips Medical Center, the Oklahoma Sheriff’s Association, Edward Jones, and attendees for the beautiful Smith/Cartwright wedding. The Shangri-La Team is also spreading the Grand Lake news at our booth in the River Spirit Expo Center in Tulsa during the Tulsa State Fair. Our crew members will be there through the final day of the fair Sunday.
 
Enjoy PGA Golf, college and NFL football action, and Major League Baseball playoff action with us at Doc’s. We have multiple sports screens to keep up with all the games. Doc’s has rapidly become Grand Lake’s favorite sport for watching great sporting events.
 
The Spa at Shangri-La is open at the hotel Wednesday from 10:00-3:00 and Thursday-Sunday 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Call for reservations for massage therapy, manicures, pedicures, IV therapy, Botox or filler treatment. The girls at the spa also have mani-pedi packages for kids!
