It’s a big weekend at Shangri-La. It’s Mardi Gras weekend and our first presentation of a Murder Mystery Dinner. If you haven’t already made your reservations to join us for “Murder at the Circus Masquerade,” remember space is limited and the event us coming up quickly – Saturday night in the Roosevelt Ballroom at the resort hotel. SUNDAY IS BRUNCH DAY AT DOC’S!
Sunday is our popular “Sunday Brunch” at Doc’s Bar & Grill from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The Doc’s brunch is open to the public with entrees priced from $13-$15. This week’s Mardi Gras weekend brunch menu includes Benny & the Jets (smoked salmon), Pig in a Breakfast Blanket, White Chocolate & Nutella Pancakes, Mediterranean Quiche, and Bon Temps Jambalaya.
Remember, too, that Doc’s Bar & Grill continues to offer Pizza Delivery Service on Monkey Island Thursday-Monday. There is a phone number dedicated exclusively to that service. If you live on the Island, just call 918-257-7777 and place your order. We’ll bring it right to your door.

The Shangri-La Culinary Crew will be kicking off “Welcome Back Weekend” early this week, participating in the South Grand Lake Area Chamber of Commerce “Carnival for a Cause” Mardi Gras Party and Dessert Auction at Cherokee Yacht Club Thursday night. Proceeds from the dessert auction support three local charities – Second Chance Pet Rescue, South Grand Lakers Helping Children, and Grand Lake Ministries/Blue House.
