Upcoming Events at Shangri-La May 2-8, 2019
There are plenty of options for weekend fun at Shangri-La this week. At the club house, Saturday is Demo Day for Titleist, Ping, and Callaway. If you’ve been thinking about a new club or an entire set, this is the perfect time to get fitted! The Demo Day will be from 9:00-1:00.
At the marina, this is also the perfect time to get fitted for your new boat. Nichols Marine at Shangri-La has an in-water boat show Friday-Sunday at the marina from 10-5. The marina also begins extended summer hours this week. The Ship Store will now be open 9-5 Sunday-Thursday and 9-6 Friday & Saturday.
Saturday night is Ladies Night at the resort hotel – our first “Sip & Paint” event. Contact Katelin Threet if you’d like to join the fun. Sipping begins at 6:00.
Monday is Guest Day for the Shangri-La Women’s Golf Association. They’ll be on the course for a scramble Monday morning, followed by a luncheon. Late Monday, the Home of Hope Special Olympics team will be on the course.
SUNDAY BRUNCH AT DOC’S!
Don’t forget the ever-popular Sunday Brunch at Doc’s (9:00-2:00). Sunday Brunch at Doc’s is open to the general public; and brunch specials are priced between $12 and $15. This week’s menu includes Maryland Benedict, a French Toast Club, Peanut Butter Fluff Pancakes, Irish Breakfast Nachos, and a Buffalo Breakfast Casserole.
Remember, too, that Doc’s Bar & Grill continues to offer Pizza Delivery Service on Monkey Island Thursday-Monday. There is a phone number dedicated exclusively to that service. If you live on the Island, just call 918-257-7777 and place your order. We’ll bring it right to your door.
