Upcoming Events at Shangri-La May 3-9, 2018

It’s a busy, busy week at Shangri-La! Eddy’s Lakeside Bar and Bar 211 open this weekend, and the Summit Restaurant begins summer hours of operation (lunch and dinner Thursday-Sunday, bar service only, Monday-Wednesday). Nichols Marine at Shangri-La hosts an In-Water Boat Show Friday-Sunday, and Saturdayis Ping, Titleist, and Callaway “Demo Day” at the club house (9:00-1:00). Since Saturday is also Cinco de Mayo, we’ll have a bar & food stand set up at Demo Day with Cinco de Mayo-appropriate food and beverages. Please note that virtually all Shangri-La venues have switched to summer Hours of Operation this week. Check out the hours of operation below and make sure you don't miss a chance to join us.

Monday is “Guest Day” for the Shangri-La Women’s Association. They will be playing a two-person scramble format with each of the Shangri-La ladies paired with a guest. Monday afternoon, the Home of Hope Golf Team will be on the course for their regular Monday Play Day.

This week, we are also delighted to host the Oklahoma Traffic Engineers Association, the SKS Golf Tournament, Commercial Bank, the Columbus Peer Group, Sonic, River Oaks Presbyterian Church, and Meshek & Associates.

Chef Michael and his team have put together another incredible menu for SundayBrunch at the Summit (10:00-2:00) featuring Southern Ham & Cheese Eggs Benedict with Poached Eggs, Braised Ham Hock, Cheddar Cheese, Dijon Hollandaise Sauce, English Muffin and Seasoned Breakfast Potatoes ($12), Sausage, Egg & Cheese Biscuits with Whole Hog Sausage Patties, Grilled Buttermilk Biscuits, Fried Eggs, Cheese Sauce, Side of Sausage Grave and Seasoned Breakfast Potatoes ($12), Cranberry Walnut Pancakes with Candied Walnuts, Brandy Cranberry Syrup, Buttermilk Pancakes, Whipped Cream, Mint and a side of Applewood Smoked Bacon ($12), and a Philly Cheese Steak Omelet with Whipped Eggs, Shaved Prime Rib, Grilled Onions, Grilled Peppers, Sauteed Mushrooms, Cheez Whiz and Seasoned Breakfast Potatoes ($15). NBA Playoffs continue with second round action this weekend, the 144^th running of The Kentucky Derby is Saturday – and PGA Players are in the Charlotte, North Caroline for the Wells Fargo Championship. Doc’s Bar & Grill is always the best place to enjoy your favorite sporting events. We hope you will join us.
