Upcoming Events at Shangri-La May 9-15, 2019
It’s Mother’s Day weekend, and we offer multiple options to appropriately honor all the Moms. The traditional Summit Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet will be offered to all members and resort guests from 10:00-3:00 Sunday ($40 for adults, $20 for children 12 and under); and Doc’s also has a special Mother’s Day Brunch menu from 9:00-2:00. On the golf course, Mothers play free with a paid round on Sunday. Call the Golf Shop to reserve tee times.
Saturday is the Monkey Island Golf Cart Poker Run benefiting efforts to complete the final phase of the Monkey Island Pedestrian & Golf Cart Trail. The patio at Doc’s will be the final stop of the Poker Run and will also host awards ceremonies Saturday afternoon.
Monday is Play Day for the Shangri-La Women’s Golf Association (T and F); and late Monday, the Home of Hope Special Olympics team will be on the course.

Mother’s Day Sunday Brunch at Doc’s is open to the general public; and brunch specials are priced between $14 and $16. This week’s menu selections include Croque-Madame Benedict, Salmon Lox, Chocolate Delight Pancakes, Seafood Stuffed Haddock Newburg, and Mediterranean Stuffed Chicken.
Remember, too, that Doc’s Bar & Grill continues to offer Pizza Delivery Service on Monkey Island Thursday-Monday. There is a phone number dedicated exclusively to that service. If you live on the Island, just call 918-257-7777 and place your order. We’ll bring it right to your door.
