LOVE THAT FIRST TEE!
Walk to the box ready for an awesome round of golf. As Jack Nicklaus says, “The most important shot of the day is the first one.” Don’t come screeching into the parking lot two minutes before your tee time. Get to the course at least an hour before so you can properly prepare for greatness
The best players are meticulous about their pre-round routine. If you don’t have one, get one. Start by slowing everything down. Take some time to deep-breathe and focus. Stretch to get your muscles warm. Hit a few putts before you go to the range. Do everything in slow motion. Find a rhythm.
Turn off the cell — you should’ve taken care of those work texts long before you hit the tee box. At the very least, mute it and bury it in your bag. Then pull the club that gives you the best chance to find the fairway, even if it’s a 5-iron. You don’t want your first swing of the day to be a miss.
Cherokee Grove Monday Night League
Cherokee Grove Monday Night League.. Hit the ball at 5:15. All are welcome. You can stop by the Cherokee Grove Clubhouse to sign up. Because of Labor Day we played 2 man scrambles with winners in A flight and B flight.
Cherokee Grove Saturday and Sunday Skins. 9 a.m. start time. Cheapest SKINS GAME you will find.
Wednesday Morning League for Senior men at Cherokee Grove. Just stop by the Cherokee Grove club house. This will be a Senior Men’s league for 60 and over playing 9 holes. $20 fee includes cart fee and entry in $5 skins game. (Members play for $10) Tee off each Wednesday promptly at 8 a.m. This League has begun play. Lots of interest and good turn outs. Do not miss out.
Patricia Island Country Club Ladies Golf League
