Grand River Dam Authority Floodwater Release Bulletin

At 9 AM on Thursday, March 13:

  • Grand Lake elevation was 744.16 feet.

  • At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) main spillway gate was open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 285 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.

  • Three (3) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 6,667 cfs of water through generation.

  • Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 6,952 cfs.

  • Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 2,908 cfs.

  • Lake Hudson elevation was 630.20 feet.

  • No floodgates were open at Robert S. Kerr Dam

  • One (1) unit was online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 8,640 cfs of water through generation.

  • Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 7,190 cfs.

* Related to the dam monitoring exercise at the Robert S. Kerr Dam, the elevation of Lake Hudson has reached an elevation of 630′. It will be held there for monitoring exercises until Saturday, March 15, when the level will begin to drop.
