Grand Lake Islands

There are dozens of islands and coves — here are the ones worth the trip.

Monkey Island
Not really an island anymore — connected by causeway. Restaurants, marinas, the Peninsula.
Bird Island
Small, private cove nearby is a favorite anchor spot.
Sailboat Bridges islands
Cluster of tiny islands under the bridges.
Coves off Drowning Creek
Cliffs, deep water, less-trafficked.

Most shorelines are private — stay below the water line unless posted otherwise. Pack out everything, especially glass.
