Grand River Dam Authority Floodwater Release Bulletin

For immediate release: 4/25/25

At 1 PM on Friday, April 25:

  • Grand Lake elevation was 746.82 feet.

  • At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, three (3) main spillway and two (2) east spillway gates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 32,634 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.

  • Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,221 cfs of water through generation.

  • Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 45,855 cfs.

  • Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 10,594 cfs.

  • Lake Hudson elevation was 626.80 feet.

  • Fifteen (15) floodgates were open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 27,999 cfs of water.

  • Three (3) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 24,030 cfs of water through generation.

  • Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 52,029 cfs.

  • Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 47,113 cfs.
