The Grove Area Chamber Ambassadors held a Ribbon Cutting for Mend YogaBar, Thursday, September 5th, at 4707 Hwy 59 N. Jan Toohey and her husband Brett came here from Las Vegas 5 years ago and realized that our community needed the benefits of a yoga studio. They opened Mend YogaBar January 1st of this year and along with Erin Van Meter have been growing a mindful community of folks learning to "feel better in their bodies". If you are new to yoga or to "Hot" yoga, Jan recommends starting with a Yin session but they have multiple types of classes available every day of the week. Check out their website for the schedule and fun events like Craft Nights or the upcoming Audio Book Club at https://mendyogabar.com.
